Classes and Workshops
Dressmaking
Do you have an interest in creating your own clothes or garments or are you a follower of Fashion and would you love to re-create iconic pieces ? Dressmaking allows you to be creative and unique. You will be taught how to read a commercial pattern envelope, discuss sizing, fabric choices and how to follow pattern instructions to create you finished garment.
Classes are held during the day and evening.

Sewing
Sewing encompasses other areas of creativity such as Cushion Covers, Curtains, pillow cases, embroidery ,bags, bucket hats, scrap busters, fat quarter makes and anything that is not a garment.
Classes are held during the day and evening.

Kids After School Club
Do you have a child (10 years and above) that is interested in Sewing or would like help and support for their GCSE Design Technology, A’ Level Textiles or preparing for College or University Fashion Courses. Having taught in Further Education for over 20 years up to Degree level I can offer help and advice to help their journeys.Available Classes

Overlocker Workshops
Do you own an Overlocker and apprehensive of using it or would like to try one of the sewing school Janome Overlockers before you invest in one ? This specialist Overlocker Workshop is held over 3hrs.During this workshop you will go the re-threading, what effect tensions have on stitches, stitch length, use of differential feed, 3 threads and use, turning corners, curves ,inside corners, roll hemming, wide overlocking, disengaging knife, moving knife width and much more. All materials and handouts are included in price. Refreshments are also available. This workshop is restricted to 4. Clients own overlockers must be in a working condition.Available Workshops

Get to know your Sewing Machine
Do you own a Sewing Machine and not sure what all the stitches and feet are used for ? Then this 3 hour workshop is for you. During this workshop you will go through bobbin winding, threading machine, tension for different fabrics, dropping feeddogs, stitch length, stitch width, zig-zag, edge finish stitches, buttonholes ,decorative stitches, what machine accessory feet do, look at different needles and their use, different threads for different fabrics and much more. This workshop is restricted 4 and price includes all materials and handouts. Refreshments are also available. Clients own Sewing Machine must be working condition.Available Workshops
